CEAB Investments LP is expanding its network of qualified physicians available for independent medical examinations, peer reviews, medical-record reviews and other medical-legal consulting assignments.
These are not permanent jobs, salaried positions, hospital appointments, residency programs or traditional locum-tenens placements. CEAB is seeking licensed physicians interested in being considered for individual consulting assignments that may be completed around their existing clinical, academic or administrative responsibilities.
Joining the CEAB network can offer physicians another professional way to apply their training, contribute independent medical insight and potentially generate supplemental professional income without leaving their established practice.

CEAB understands that physicians already manage demanding professional schedules. Independent consulting assignments can be accepted based on specialty, licensure, location, experience, availability and the requirements of each case.

CEAB is currently recruiting physicians in the following specialty groups
Orthopedic
Surgery and PM&R
Orthopedic surgeons, physiatrists and physical medicine and rehabilitation physicians may support musculoskeletal injury examinations, functional assessments, record reviews and work-capacity questions.
Neurology and Neurosurgery
Neurologists and neurosurgeons may assist with neurological injuries, traumatic conditions, spine-related matters, surgical reviews and complex medical-record analysis.
Psychiatry
Psychiatrists may be considered for appropriate psychiatric examinations, disability reviews, work-capacity questions and record-based consulting assignments.
Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology
Pain medicine physicians and anesthesiologists may support reviews involving pain management, procedures, treatment appropriateness and complex claims.
Occupational Medicine and Emergency Medicine
Occupational and emergency medicine physicians may assist with workplace injuries,
acute-care records, fitness-for-duty matters and independent case reviews.
General and
Trauma Surgery
General, trauma and bariatric surgeons may support surgical examinations, complication reviews, causation questions, medical-record reviews and future-care assessments.
Internal and
Family Medicine
Internists and family physicians may be considered for general medical reviews, disability matters, treatment assessments and peer-review assignments.
General Physician Peer Review
CEAB also welcomes qualified physicians from additional specialties who have relevant experience in independent review, utilization review, claims consulting or medical-legal work.

Physicians who are new to independent medical reviews may still be suitable when they possess the necessary clinical experience, active licensure, professional standing, The present recruitment campaign focuses on physicians licensed and available in:

- Florida
- Georgia
- Tennessee
- Nevada
Physicians with active licences in more than one state should identify every jurisdiction in which they are currently eligible to practice or provide the requested professional service.
New to Independent
Medical Consulting?
Prior IME or medical-legal consulting experience can be valuable, but it is not the only factor CEAB considers.
CEAB’s administrative infrastructure is designed to reduce the nonclinical burden associated with assignments.
